            Galgotias, in the recent past has established its name for its contribution to the development of technology based knowledge through B.Tech. programmes, business leadership, corporate excellence through MBA programme and computer based stateof-the-art skills through its MCA programme. The high quality education, well-equipped infrastructural facilities, inculcation of professionalism and innovativeness have accelerated its pace of growth, which will keep on increasing by leaps and bounds.

             We, at GIMT conduct MBA and MCA programs which aim at to cater to ever-growing human resource requirement of the corporate sector in the areas of marketing, finance, HR, IT and others. We make curricula based knowledge issue focused and stimulate students through a balance of pedagogic approaches like lectures, case studies, presentations, seminars and other co-curricular activities. We put our best efforts to develop professionals who are equipped not only with managerial and technological knowledge but also possess positive attitude, skill, entrepreneurship, sensitivity, responsibility and vision to fulfill organizational goals.

Profile of Prof. (Dr.) V. K.  Khanna

                Prof V. K. Khanna, Director GIMT holds B.Sc Engg.(Mech) degree from IT BHU, M.E. (Production Engineering) from IIT Roorkee. He did his PGDBM from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi and Ph.D (TQM) from IIT Delhi. He has been closely associated with industry for over 25 years and has worked at senior positions. He worked in various capacities in HEC Ranchi, Escorts Ltd. Faridabad, Stallion Shox Surajpur, Hero Honda Motors Ltd. Dharuhera and Mark Auto Industries Ltd., a joint venture of MUL. He has also worked as Director in the sister concern of Mark Auto Industries Ltd. i.e. Mark Exhaust Systems Ltd. After leaving Mark Auto, he worked as Director in ‘Quality Enhancement Management Services’ for over 6 years. Subsequently he joined IMT Ghaziabad as Professor in Operations Management.

                He has about 25 publications to his credit and his paper ‘Managing the Transition Phases in the TQM Journey: A System Dynamics Approach’ has been awarded ‘Highly Commended Award’ from Emerald Literati club for the year 2005. He has also been conferred the Best Ph.D Thesis Award by Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore. His paper on Business Process Re-engineering won first Prize in the competition organized by Delhi University. His book on TQM i.e. Planning, Design & Implementation has also been well acclaimed by academics and corporate world as well. Professor Khanna is widely travelled which includes visit to Japan, UK, Canada, USA, Itlay, Germany, Thailand, Malasia, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. He has rich experience in implementing world class practices in various organizations like 5 ‘s’, Kaizan, TPM, TPS, Poke-yoke, ISO9001, TSI6949, ISO14001, OHSAS-18001 etc. He has provided consultancy to various organizations like Hero Honda Motors Ltd., Whirlpool India Ltd., Genus Overseas Electronics Ltd., Autofit Industries Ltd, Mayur Uniquoters Ltd. Etc.
